Meet Our Team!

  • Pamela Ladner | President & Founder

    She/Her

I started this journey with and for my child who is neurodiverse, nonbinary, and Queer. From an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis, to Mental Health treatment, and LGBTQIA+ support, this has been an incredible self awakening for my child and myself.

Their journey has taught me how to be authentic in every aspect of my life, and to help others find the support they need to live authentically. Our journey has transformed my life and how I see the world. I’ve been privileged to meet amazing people along the way and I am greateful for the small part I am afforded to play in others journeys. Don’t journey alone! Let's all get there together.

"Always be yourself - everyone else is already taken"

  • Nykki Hiple | Vice President

    She/They

I’m Nykki . Proudly queer and nonbinary, I work as a pediatric medical assistant, dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of children. Having lived in Sharon, PA all my life, I’m fortunate to share my journey with my amazing husband as we raise our wonderfully mischievous little “demon(s).”

My path has been filled with meaningful milestones, from becoming a parent to stepping into my role as a Pleb/MA. Now I’m currently the Vice President for the Shenango Valley Pride Alliance, where I advocate for inclusivity and support within our vibrant community.

In my free time, I love doing crafts, enjoying movies, listening to music, and cherishing moments with all of our pets. I strive to weave my identity and passions into everything I do, creating a life that feels authentic and true to who I am.

  • Stephanie Valla | Treasurer & Secretary

    She/Her

As the Treasurer and Secretary, I am proud to bring my obsession with bullet points and organizational schematics to Shenango Valley Pride Alliance. I have long been an advocate for fair treatment of members in the LGBTQIA+ community, having been emotionally affected growing up by the treatment of gay people during the AIDS epidemic and hate crimes such as the murder of Matthew Shephard.

Every human deserves to be treated kindly, and I will staunchly defend anyone who is mistreated based on their sexual orientation, gender or gender identity, race, religion, or age. Through my service and work with the Shenango Valley Pride Alliance I hope to spread the message that we must strive to be the change we want to see in the world.
